In the interest of public health and safety, changes have been made to the planned Australia Day on the Hawkesbury event on Wednesday, 26 January.

Residents are invited to bring family and friends and their own picnic to Governor Phillip Park, Windsor, from 7-9pm, where there will be light entertainment and a small selection of food trucks.

The carnival rides, activities and the emergency services display, will not be held, but the evening will still end with the popular fireworks display.

Council’s Australia Day Awards Ceremony and Citizenship Ceremony will still take place but will be moved to an online format.
