
Illuminate The Hills will decorate the Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Rose Garden with festive cheer up until Thursday, 2 January 2025.The glittering garden will be lit with thousands of twinkling fairy lights, lined with magnificent Christmas installations and adorned with a dazzling nativity scene.
Mayor of The Hills Shire, Dr Michelle Byrne said Illuminate The Hills was a beloved Hills Christmas tradition. “I’m really looking forward to seeing the rose garden in all its splendour this holiday season,” Mayor Byrne said.
The lights are switched on from 7:30 p.m. every night and will light up the rose garden each night until Thursday, 2 January 2025.
The Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Rose Garden is one of the largest of its kind in NSW, with over 4,000 roses from 80 different species. The garden also features concrete pathways, making it accessible for wheelchairs and prams.
The rose garden is located on Roxborough Park Road, Baulkham Hills next to Waves Fitness and Aquatic Centre.For more information, visit www.thehills.nsw.gov.au and search for ‘Illuminate the Hills’.
