Extension to Livvi’s Place playground

February 12, 2026

Popular Livvi’s Place playground is set to get a new play tower, flying fox and accessible amenities as part of The Hills Shire Council’s stage 2 work plans.

Located within Bernie Mullane Sports Complex, Kellyville, the all-abilities playground was constructed in 2009 and extended in 2017.

The first stage was created in consultation with the community, with council now calling on residents to again have a say on its design and extension works.

The proposed playground extension features a range of new park and playground elements to complement the existing facilities, including:

  • An accessible amenities building;
  • Additional play equipment including a play tower and flying fox;
  • Selected areas of rubber soft fall surfacing;
  • Accessible pathways;
  • Additional picnic facilities and park seating; and
  • Tree planting and soft landscaping works

To make a written submission, complete the online submission form by visiting Council’s website and searching for ‘Livvi’s Place Playground Extension’.

In addition to the online consultation, Council plans to hold an on-site consultation at Livvi’s Place (subject to COVID-19 restrictions) in the coming weeks, with details to be announced soon.

Online submissions will close at 4pm Monday, 13 December.
