An event that brings amazing musical talent into our own backyard and gives our littlest musicians a chance to learn from the best is headed to Blacktown City an excited Mayor Tony Bleasdale has announced.
The Sydney Symphony Orchestra (SSO) is performing at the Leo Kelly Blacktown Arts Centre on Saturday, 12 February, in a world-class music spectacular for children.
Council, in collaboration with Blacktown Arts, is proud to partner with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra to present ‘A Music Adventure – Emily Who & the Sydney Symphony’ an event for children under 5 years of age and their parents.
Singer Emily Who and a string quartet will give a 30-minute interactive musical mystery concert, where children will learn and move to the violin, viola and cello as they solve a series of fun musical clues.
“[Our partnership with the SSO] provides a wonderful opportunity to bring world-class music and musicians to Blacktown City for children to enjoy,” Mayor Bleasdale said.
